William O'Brien is a licentiate member of the Irish Professional Photographers' Association, and has been operating a photography studio in Tipperary Town since 1977.
We utilise the very latest technology to capture the highlights of your day. We were one of the first studios in Ireland to change over from film, quickly seeing the advantages of digital capture and the benefits it would bring to our customers.
We have since kept up to date with the fast-changing world that is modern photography.
We are winners of 2 Kodak "Portrait of the Year" Awards, numerous runner-up prizes in all categories of that competition, and also winner of Gold, Silver and Bronze awards in the Irish Professional Photographers Association, we are well qualified to undertake any assignment offered to us.
We pride ourselves in the quality of our work and presentation and working from our own fully equipped studio premises in the centre of Tipperary Town, and are available to cover a wide area from Clare, Limerick, north Cork, Kilkenny and all of Co. Tipperary.
As a back up to our main services we have some other services that we offer. One of these is our Framing service. We carry a stock of Italian and Irish mouldings to complement any photograph or picture.
We also offer a copying and retouching service for old photographs. Using up to date technology we can remove blemishes, restore contrast and in some cases colour to old family images, keeping them fresh for a new generation.
One of the annoyances in life is beaurocracy. Lately we seem to need photographs for all sorts of reasons; along with passports and driving licences, there is club membership, student cards, job ID and others not thought of yet.
While we cannot do anything about the regulations, we can and do provide high quality images for any of the above reasons, so that at least your photograph will look good.
